This wonderful restaurant was clean and open. Fantastic Food, service with a smile by servers Gabriella and Jenny. Ambiance with red lighting and lots of seating choices. This is truly a 5 Star Restaurant. Thank you Mr Kim for the Five Star quality of food, Five Star service and beautiful ambience. Best Plum Wine and chilled glass Ever! The dinner bento box, baked muscles, salmon teriyaki, jalapeño poppers and the sushi hook and Island rolls were all off the chart or should I say off the Hook! lol This is my new favorite sushi place in Sac. Sushi Hook. See you again. Julie A

I went here for lunch with a coworker one day. There aren't that many people during the day time, which I am surprised because this place was extremely good! The servers were super nice and patient as they always checked on us every once in a while. The main roll here is the Crack Cocaine roll. That roll is mandatory if you ever come here. The rolls here are super big too. If you order 2 rolls for yourself, you will forsure be full for the rest of the day. Will be coming back to this place for sure.

The quality, quantity and freshness of EVERYTHING THEY DO shines! Still my favorite sushi in the Sacramento area. Pickup service was good, but not timely by their own standards...not a long wait, but past the time they "strictly" state. I shall return!

My granddaughter and her friend had just finished shopping at Arden Mall. It was 8:00pm. They were hungry and wanted sushi. We did a Yelp search and found Sushi Hook because it was opened until 11:00. When we got there, a large group (20+ people) had just left so there were a lot of dirty tables. There were 2 groups in front of us. We were seated within 10 minutes. Once seated, they asked us if we needed any drinks. We ordered our drinks but were not ready to order. It probably took us 10 minutes to determine what we wanted. We ordered a couple of appetizers. Our main order was sashimi and 4-5 rolls. It was the first time eating at a sushi restaurant for my granddaughter's friend so we ordered beef teriyaki for her. We got our appetizers within 10 minutes. We waited about 30 minutes for the sashimi and rolls. Everything was served on one big plate. The only roll that I remembered its name was Cracked Cocaine. All of the rolls were large and tasteful. Service was outstanding. They kept checking on us every 5 minutes or so. They answered any questions that we had. The food was plentiful, and we had a lot of leftovers. Definitely, will go back.
